When I first came across the recipe - searching for inventive ways to use the Mikuna Wild Harvest Black Garlic Molasses - I was pretty skeptical. But the earthy tang of the black garlic molasses is a fun compliment to the rum and basil!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces Ritual Zero Proof Rum, or dark rum of your choosing
  • 1 orange wheel, sliced into halves
  • 3 basil leaves, plus 1 sprig for garnish
  • 1 ounce Mikuna Wild Harvest Black Garlic Molasses

Directions

  1. Muddle basil and half an orange wheel the in the bottom of a rocks glass. Add ice, Black Garlic Molasses, and rum and stir. Top with soda water and garnish with basil and orange slice.
