Cilantro Lime Crema
This is almost a no-recipe recipe. You can play with the proportions to achieve the balance of creaminess to acidity that you prefer, so consider the quantities as a recommend starting point.
Ingredients
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 bunch cilantro, leaves only
- Juice from ½ a lime
- ½ teaspoon salt
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust as desired - you can add more lime juice if you prefer more acidity, or extra sour cream if you want a slightly thicker crema. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
