Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. fresh ginger, minced
- 1 lb. ground pork or lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 carrot, julienned or coarsely grated
- 1/4 green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1/4 c. low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. sriracha
- Kosher salt
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
- Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and ginger and cook for about one minute, or until fragrant.
- Add pork or beef and cook, break up with spatula. Stir occasionally, until browned and no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper.
- Push meat to side of pan and add sesame oil. Add carrot, cabbage and onion.
- Combine meat with vegetables and stir in sriracha and soy sauce. Continue to cook until cabbage is tender.
- Transfer to serving dish or bowls and garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
