Mediterranean Cucumber and Balsamic Mocktail
When I first tasted Ritrovo's new Mediterranean Balsamic Vinegar, I was blown away by its refreshing flavor. I'd never tasted a vinegar like it. It's a white balsamic vinegar infused with Italian basil and rosemary, and it's bright and tangy while also a little sweet. Besides this mocktail, I'm using it as a drizzle on top of burrata, in salad dressings, and is part of a marinade for grilled chicken. Let us know if you give it a try!
Herb and Cucumber Mocktail
Ingredients
- 3 thick slices cucumber
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- 1 ½ ounces (1 jigger) Ritrovo Organic Green Mediterranean Herb Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 ½ ounces Ritual Zero Proof Gin, or gin of your choosing
- Soda water
- 1 thin slice of cucumber
Directions
- Prepare your glass by filling it with ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the 3 thick slices of cucumber and simple syrup or honey.
- Fill the shaker with ice, then pour in the vinegar and gin (if using). Put the lid on your shaker and shake for 20 seconds until thoroughly chilled.
- Strain the mixture into your glass directly over the ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with the remaining slice of cucumber.
