Strawberry Basil Salsa
Strawberry season is here, and just in time for the Strawberry Festival, K Love has a recipe worth passing along. This salsa takes ripe strawberries and dresses them up with balsamic vinegar, a touch of brown sugar, and fresh basil and mint for something sweet, tangy, and a little unexpected. It comes together in about fifteen minutes and works just as well spooned over grilled chicken as it does scooped up with a chip. Add a little jalapeño if you want some heat.
