Made In is the first to bring this legacy Plateware to home cooks. Most Plateware is mechanically top glazed, leaving an unfinished “foot” that causes scratching when stacked. Our fully-glazed Plateware is suspended on pins for 360-degree glazing, leaving behind three small “beauty marks”—not blemishes—that are the sign of fine craftsmanship. The glazing makes each piece chip- and scratch-resistant, in addition to being oven safe to 580F, so delicate sauces won’t break due to the temperature shock of a cold plate.
